ACTS
ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service.
The retreat’s goals are to strengthen our faith and its application in our daily life, to renew ourselves spiritually, and to build strong lasting friendships. The ACTS weekend is presented by lay Catholic men or women with support provided by a Spiritual Companion and clergy. The retreat begins on a Thursday evening with check-in between 4:45 and 5:15 p.m. in the St. Peter Room at MBS Church. Have a family member bring you and plan on them staying for a short meeting after you leave. Transportation to and from Rosaryville will be provided. We will return from Rosaryville on Sunday and attend 11:30 a.m. Mass. There will be a reception for retreatants' friends and families following Mass in the Our Lady of the Eucharist Room.
Registration preference will be given according to the following criteria: 1) Registered MBS parishioners and 2) Catholics and 3) Non-Catholics. Registration forms will be accepted for adults 21 and over. The full cost of the retreat is $325.00. Please note: A fund has been established to provide registration assistance for retreat attendance. If you have financial concerns, a limited number of scholarships are available for each retreat. Please note your need on your registration form.
